I am considering getting one of these to dual boot, Windows 7 and Mac OSX. These laptops are known to work with the Apple OS.

The Wind is an acronym for “Wi-Fi Network Device,” it features a fast and energy-efficient Intel Atom 1.6GHz Processor which provides longer battery life and better mobility. The MSI Wind is a lightweight Netbook, it measures about 7 inches wide by 10.23 inches long, and it weighs just 2.6 pounds.

The Wind features a functional keyboard that is only 20% smaller than a full sized notebook keyboard. The MSI Wind comes equipped with a 10″ Backlit LED screen that provides excellent Color quality and brightness giving you better comfort while viewing the internet, watching online videos and viewing photos. The Wind has 802.11b/g/n wireless built-in, so you can enjoy the convenience of accessing the Internet anywhere. It also has video chat with the built-in 1.3 Megapixel Web camera and microphone. These have been in stock for at least a week, don’t know why it took so long to report.

Anyway, remember, there are different versions of the U120. Thus the different prices.

In the US, we have these:

U120-024US – (no Bluetooth) – roughly $370
U120-020US – (Bluetooth 2.0 EDR) – roughly $470

Both are 6-cell, 1GB/160GB, 1.6GHz, XP configurations.

BTW, Amazon uses a volatile sinusoidal pricing model similar to how airlines do it, so keep checking the price until it ebbs back down to a reasonable level. Don’t get burned paying $35 more than you could be paying if you just come back a little later. There are probably 4 or 5 prices that it will drift up and down to over the course of a day. For example, right now Amazon is showing $405 for the U120-024US (non-BT) model, earlier it was $379.
