Drunk Driving on a Barstool?

Kyle Wygle from Columbus Ohio was charged with drunk driving after he crashed a lawnmower with a bar stool attached to it. Kyle told police officers that he drank 15 beers and that his motorized bar stool had a top speed of 38 miles per hour. Kyle was taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries and has pleaded not guilty to the charge of driving while intoxicated.
Where do Peeps come from?

Peeps are marshmallow candies, sold in the US and Canada. They are shaped into chicks, bunnies, and other animals, but they primarily fill up Easter Baskets. They are made from marshmallow, sugar, gelatin, and carnauba wax.
Peeps are produced by Just Born, a candy manufacturer (great name considering they produce Peeps) from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Peeps were introduced nationally in 1958 by Pravin Pant Sr., an immigrant from Nepali. Just Born acquired Rodda Candy Company in 1953 and they automated the process and mass-produced them. The Peeps were originally formed by hand. The yellow chicks or Peeps were the original form of the candy.

Green Lantern Movie Moving Forward

Warner Brothers and DC Comics are moving forward with their Green Lantern movie.
Writer Michael Green, who is sharing the scripting duties for Green Lantern, told Sci-Fi Wire that the project is proceeding. Michael Green confirmed the addition of director Martin Campbell to the movie, who we had last heard was in talks to direct the movie.
Green says he wants to see the movie move forward as a fan as much as a writer. Turns out that he is a fan of the character. That’s always a good thing to have in a writer of a film adaptation. The movie should be based on Hal Jordan’s character.
Green Lantern and Silver Surfer are my favorite superheroes because they are thinking characters. They aren’t just brute strength.

Amazing Robot Swimming
Swimming Robot. All it needs is some claws and some teeth and it would make a great SciFi robot.

Completely Wooden Bicycle
55 year old Peijia Wu is a carpenter in Shandong Chinese village. It would take a month of his pay to pay for a metal bicycle. Instead he created a completely wooden bike. It took him 3 months to build his wooden bike. It has no metal parts whatsoever. The joints are fixed with small wooden bungs and a wooden rod-crank system. I can’t see the bike lasting very long, but he can fix it if need be.
