The Terrafugia Transition took it’s maiden flight earlier this month. The car-airplane runs on unleaded fuel and is a front-wheel drive vehicle on the ground. It gets great fuel economy at around 30 MPG and has a top speed of 65 MPH. The car-airplane retails at a street price of $194,000 when it eventually goes on sale. Study Says Your Brain Declines at age 27
Mental powers start to diminish at 27 after peaking at 22, marking the start of old age, US research suggests.
Professor Timothy Salthouse of the University of Virginia found reasoning, spatial visualization and speed of thought all decline in our late 20s.
The Professor’s study lasted seven years and and was based on 2,000 healthy people aged 18-60 as is published in the journal Neurobiology of Aging.
In 9 out of 12 tests the average age at which the top performance was achieved was 22. The first age at which there was any noticeable decline was at 27 in tests of brain speed, reasoning and visual puzzle-solving ability.
Memory abilities stayed intact until the age of 37, on average. Abilities based on accumulated knowledge, such as performance on tests of vocabulary or general information, increased until the age of 60.

Fisker Karma Electric Solar Powered Car
Fisker Automotive is taking preorders for their electric sports-car in California. The automotive company has started running ads for the Karma on LA TV stations. The car looks really exotic with it’s solar panel on the top of the roof of the car.
The Fisker Karma will offer the option to purchase a full-length solar roof that will help charge the car and provide cooling for the interior cabin while the car is parked. Additionally, the car maker will offer consumers an option to purchase a set of solar panels for their roofs or garages where they can generate electricity during the day to charge the car overnight.
