Sony Ericsson W995

The Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman has a multimedia-centric slider which boasts an 8.1 megapixel camera, A-GPS, Google Maps, WiFi, DLNA certification, 118MB of built-in memory, an 8GB M2 card and a 2.6-inch QVGA scratch-resistant display. The mobile should ship in 3 colors — Progressive Black, Cosmic Silver and Energetic Red — and the inbuilt kickstand should make airplane-based movie watching a touch easier on the neck. I hate holding up my phone to watch movies. It gets old quick. No word on a release date or price.

Guitar Store

Guitar Store shaped like a giant fender amp. Pretty original I would say. Where is the door? Turns out that it is a rollup door. Pretty ingenious.

Miss Atom

Meet Alyona Kirsanova of Novovoronezh, one of the contestants in Russia’s “Miss Atom” 2009. Alyona is 22, works for Novovoronezhatomenergoremont(thats a serious mouthful), and loves “enjoying life.” The Miss Atom beauty contest is an annual event open to (female) employees of Russia’s nuclear industry. I wouldn’t get too close to that cooling pond though.
