Checkout the new google instant search. It's basically predictive search. You type something in and it starts showing you results before you hit the search button. Google to get into the ISP business with an ultra fast fiber network called “Google Fiber for Communities”. They are calling for State and local governments to get a hold of Google to beta test ultra fast internet.

People on the Internet Surpasses 1 Billion Now
People on the Internet surpassed one billion in December, according to comScore. The actual number is probably higher than that according to, Internet World Stats which counted almost 1.5 billion Web surfers worldwide as of June 30, 2008. Between 15 and 22 percent of the world’s population is on the Internet. The world has along way to go.

Chrome 2.0 Pre-Beta Available
Google Chrome 2.0 comes with some new features:
Form auto complete, one of the most obvious missing features from the initial release. It is like the auto complete that comes with Firefox.
Spell-checking improvements. You can now enable or disable spell checking in a text field by right-clicking in the field. You can also change the spell-checking language by right clicking.
