The India Tata Nano car has been in the making for some time, but pre-orders are starting today with a MSRP of 100,000 rupees (under $2000 US). This officially makes it the cheapest car in the world. Doesn’t look that bad. Looks better than a Yugo. It doesn’t have AC, but it does get 50 MPG. The US might see it after 2011. European countries will get it in 2011.
